A: No. Cubic zirconia is synthetic and has similar sparkle and fire, but it is a different material. It's more affordable, equally durable for everyday wear, and hypoallergenic. Comparing its beauty to a diamond is fair; claiming it is a diamond is not.
Q: Will it tarnish or lose shine?
A: Sterling .925 can oxidize over time if not cared for. Store in a jewelry box, avoid perfumes and chlorine, and gently wipe with a soft cloth every two weeks. It will keep its original shine for years.
